Studies in visual arts and fashion design led to a successful career as Head Designer for Karl Mann Associates and contributed to Janet Brignola-Tava’s desire to create timeless works of art. In 1985, she created the renowned "Sakura Collection," which featured works combining the artistic elements of fabric, wallpaper, paint, and other decorative arts. She has been honored with the coveted "Roscoe Award" and has been published in Vogue, House and Garden, House Beautiful, and Architectural Digest, among others. Brignola-Tava’s art is shown in the Embassy of South Africa, the Saudi Arabian Embassy, the Royal Palace of King Hussein and the private collections of Jane Seymour and Dizzy Gillespie.
