Born in Florence, Italy, Michelangelo is known for his artistic contributions in sculpture, painting, and architecture, but his best known creations are the ceiling frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. The scenes depicted are from the Old Testament of the Bible and span the stories from the creation of the world to Noah and the Great Flood. | ||
