Leland Beamnan attended the Chicago Art Institute, the Academy of Art in Chicago, School of Design and Illustrations in New York City, the Famous Artist School and Scottsdale Fine Art School in Arizona. He owned and operated an art school, gallery, frame shop and art supply business for 25 years and worked at Stevens Gross Studios in Chicago and Illustrators Group in New York City painting commercial art for 4 years.
