Shirley Murray.s love of people, of beautiful things, and a desire to create most accurately describe the reasons why she paints. .I have been asked many times to express my feelings about my work. I simply want to interpret, in my way, what I see in a manner that is both pleasing and harmonious.. Murray has studied with Rex Brandt, William Arndt, Vincent Parrell, Henry Cassellini, and Serisawa. She has exhibited at the Springfield Art Museum (Missouri), the Texas Art Gallery, The Thomson Gallery (Arizona), and is currently a featured artist at the Esther Wells Collection in Laguna Beach, California. |
